WASHCONNECT’s unique smart technology combined with its unrivalled support provides the perfect solution for Speedy Laundry’s ambitious growth strategy.
Speedy Laundry, based in High Wycombe, has been a client of WASHCO for many years. In 2017, when demand grew and the business required new commercial washing machines and dryers to support their expanding business, Managing Director Chris Gaynard immediately knew who to approach.
To increase operational efficiency and reduce ongoing costs, we recommended our range of smart commercial laundry equipment – WASHCONNECT. After seeing the range of benefits, Speedy Laundry became the first customer to adopt the intelligent WASHCONNECT W28 steam heated washer and WASHCONNECT T24 gas-heated dryer, which can monitor and report every process and problem, providing WASHCO with a real-time view of what is actually happening.
Thanks to this innovative technology, since installing WASHCO have been on the front foot. We‘re aware of any problems with a machine long before Speedy Laundry have been, which means we can react immediately, saving them time and money.
Reliable results for years to come
This unrivalled support combined with the smart equipment provides the perfect solution for Speedy Laundry’s ambitious growth strategy. WASHCONNECT has the capability to adapt to their needs rather than the business being governed by the limited possibilities older machinery may have presented.
Commenting on WASHCONNECT after the initial installation, Speedy Laundry’s Managing Director, Chris Gaynard, said; “We were thrilled to be the first customer to adopt their new smart technology. We have been delighted with the performance of our new machines and expect WASHCONNECT to be very much part of our future expansion plans. It is a fantastic service-lead product and we are already seeing the benefits”.
Four years on since WASHCONNECT was installed, Chris is still a huge fan of the technology. “The reality is that I’ve not had lots of call outs because they are really good machines which just keep going. One particular area which has been positive is updating the machine programmes. The team at WASHCO write the programmes in Newbury and then just send them to the machines. Completely hassle-free. I’d like to see this technology on other elements of the laundry process, for example, ironers.”
