The 2023 Love Laundry Awards are open for entries
The Love Laundry Awards from WASHCO are back, celebrating the care and nursing home laundry staff that make a difference.
WASHCO’s popular awards celebrating the unsung care and nursing home staff, are back, now with a new award category. We continue to support care and nursing home laundries up and down the country. The Love Laundry Awards were established to recognise the hard work and dedication of care homes and their laundry teams, who work tirelessly to keep residents safe.
New for 2023, we have launched a third category: Best Care Home Group. This will run in addition to the popular Love Laundry Hero Award, which honours an individual who has gone above and beyond the call of duty, and the Love Laundry Care Home Award, which shines a light on a care home that has implemented outstanding laundry processes.
The full list of award categories and prizes are:
- Love Laundry Hero – £250 to spend on electrical goods for themselves
- Love Laundry Care Home – £500 to spend on electrical goods for their care home
- Love Laundry Care Home Group – for groups with 8+ homes – £500 to spend on electrical goods for their care home
The winners of the three awards will be announced during the Care Show at the NEC on October 11th. Entries close on August 31st 2023.
