WASHCO partners with Young Lives Vs Cancer
Young Lives Vs Cancer are an amazing charity that provides support to both those suffering with cancer and their families.
Our partnership with Young Lives Vs Cancer will help sustain their impactful work throughout the UK. This includes providing vital services such as accommodation for families during treatment and day-to-day support.
Our commitment to the charity includes a promise to donate 1p for each cycle completed by our washing machines in universities across the UK. We will also provide opportunities for donations to be made via text or QR code at university launderettes equipped with our machines.
On 28th September 2024, our staff will be showing their support by taking part as a company in the Chiltern 50 Challenge, a fundraising event featuring a range of ambitious trek and trail runs.
We’ve has already delivered brand-new washing machines and dryers to one of the charity’s residences, Jeans House in Southampton. These upgraded machines are expected to simplify laundry tasks for both families and staff
