A Fond Farewell to Rob Dixon
WASHCO wish Rob Dixon a fond farewell on his retirement.
We have to wish a special member of our Sales Team a fond farewell this week. Mr Rob Dixon has been a stalwart of the laundry equipment industry for many years. Known to most of us as ‘Dicko’ he’s become a master at social media and made sure everyone on LinkedIn knows where to go for their laundry equipment.
Winning a prestigious LADA award for his efforts in the industry in 2019 was the icing on the cake of a winning career over 30 years in the Commercial Laundry and Dishwashing sectors.
With experience representing leaders in the industry such as Proctor and Gamble and Miele, Rob chose to become our National Account Manager. Having known James since their Miele days and already working for Hughes Pro, Rob couldn’t resist joining us at this exciting time.
For someone who has had a few dress rehearsals at this retirement lark, we hope that he takes the opportunity to have an easier pace of life and enjoy his holidays, hobbies and spending time with his lovely wife Angela. We are sure his wonderful fund raising will continue, and many local charities in Grantham will benefit from his spare time.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his service and wish him well, with lots of love and luck for the future.
“Rob has proven time and time again that he has more passion then anyone for seeing WASHCO succeed and help us to be the industry’s number one. I hope when I come to retire that I have his desire and drive, he will be missed but not forgotten, I’m sure we will all enjoy regular updates from his decking in France, thanks once again Rob for everything you have done for my career and what you did for all of us at WASHCO.”
